The film celebrates unsung heroes who turned a prairie city’s musical energy into technical innovation—from capturing raw rock ’n’ roll at community clubs and radio stations to building studios and businesses that supported careers and exported Manitoba's sound expertise. Through archival footage, interviews with surviving pioneers (or their families), and evocative recreations of analog sessions, it reveals how Winnipeg’s audio professionals didn’t just record the scene—they helped define and professionalize it during a golden era of Canadian music.
