One of the first recording projects for Neptune Records was BOXTON by Ron Paley and Glenn Axford. Pailey took this as an opportunity to release a monumental recording with new songs and arrangements.
Achieving the highest sound quality by engineer/co-producer Glenn Axford. This was a first for Glenn Axford given the opportunity to work on something with no time constraints, it gave him a carte blanche to be as meticulous as one can be which quickly became an endeavour favoured by Ron Paley.
We understood to complete the album with the highest quality pressing Ron Pailey and Glenn Axford flew to Toronto to personally cut the original vinal lacquers at Jack Richardsons' new lacquer channel called JAMF.
Boxton, was named for an early Pailey tune by the same name. Happiness is, Vehicular Motion, Boxton played by Arthur Polson violinist, composer, conductor and concertmaster of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra Polson was also a concertmaster of the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra.
